01/01/2017 - Samuel is able to visit the new Uganda location and gives a walk through of the new compound. Click on the picture to start the video

12/29/2016 - We now own the land in Uganda and are starting to establish the new home there. The children are in school with a temporary structure on the compound and latrines are being built. We are actively looking for a way to get water on the compound instead of walking the kilometer or so away.

8/12/2016 - the children and staff are now on a property near Adjumini Uganda that the Lord has provided. A fence, some temporary shelters and a temporary latrine have been put in place and water and food are more readily available although at some distance from the property. Fulaa is currently pursuing purchasing the land as the unrest in South Sudan looks to be on-going for the forseeable future. Please pray as we discern the best course of action during these difficult times and try to get some normalcy back in the lives of this displaced people.

7/28/2016 - the children, staff and elderly people have made it safely to the transit camp and all our orphan kids are accounted for. We thank God for taking them safely. While in the transit camp the children had their clothing stolen and the matresses they where able to bring with them. Now there is an urgent need for blankets, mosquito nets, clothing and shelter.

The children, staff and their family, elderly people will move from Nyamaji to Kochoa a new center for children. There they will be safe from any danger. There will be a cost for the property where the children are to stay, the property is 59 x100 meters. Pray for the health of the children as they adjust to the new place and consider donating for this cause as the cost will increase our budget to care for the children.

A lot of innocent people lost their lives in the war, properties were looted, men were arrested by force and taken in the bush to fight, women and young girls were raped by unknown gun men, famine and starvation became the order of the day, thieves increased in number. The war made the citizens leave their homes and it forced very many to flee in the camps as refugees. The United Nations (UN) organization, AAH and other relief organization are rescuing the displaced persons in South Sudan. They are taking the refugee in the following camps. Bweyale, Hoima, Adjumani etc. below are the photos of the citizen at the registration point at Elegu (Uganda border).

At the border, there are a lot of traffic jams so that vehicles cannot cross easily. People are carrying their luggage on their head because transport has become very expensive and the exchange rate of pound to shilling is very low.

7/21/2016 - The situation in the Madi area of South Sudan (Nimule, Loa, Pageri, Kerepi, and Moli) is terrible, government soldiers continue killing, torturing, abusing and beating people. As a result, people are fleeing into the neighboring country of Uganda. In two days over 5,000 people have crossed into Elegu, Uganda fleeing for there lives.

Today our children at the Cornerstone Children’s home in Nimule have crossed to Elegu, Uganda and they are waiting to be registered with UNHCR then they will be taken to Adjumani where they will be given a property to settle. Let us pray for our kids as they will be sleeping in the bush in an open place tonight and until a property is found. They are with some of the Mothers from the home. A few older kids are left behind, they may cross tomorrow.

Let us also pray for the staff. Some of their live's are in danger right now, with the government soldiers wanting to kill them if they find them as they have been accused of encouraging people to leave the country. Let us pray for their safe exit to Uganda.

Please donate  as you feel led as we will be incurring additional and unseen costs during this time.
